Before upload you will have to select one of the four submission types (paper, tutorial, poster, phd colloquium contribution).

Papers:

Authors are invited to submit original research papers or survey papers of no more than 20 pages in .pdf format using the LNCS templates, available at the url below

The page limit is strict!

All submissions will be reviewed by at least 3 members of the program committee. Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings available at the conference. The proceedings of the Conference will be published in LNBI under the series named Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics <http://www.springer.com/lncs>, subseries of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science.

Proceedings will be published as an LNBI volume, under the series named Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics <http://www.springer.com/lncs>, subseries of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science, by Springer.

There will be two follow-up special issues one in  LNCS journal TCSB and one in Theoretical Computer Science with extended versions of selected papers.

Proposals for Tutorials:

Tutorials can cover any of the topics of the conference. Tutorial proposals are invited with emphasis on tutorials that provide delegates with a greater depth of understanding into a particular area of computational methods in systems biology. The proposal shall include the purpose and background of the subject area, name of organizer and speakers, a short curriculum vitae, expected numbers of participants, etc. If tutorial material already exists even in draft stage, if would be helpful for the committee to make a more informed decision. Tutorials can be up to 3 hrs in length. We will have space for up to 4 tutorials.

  • There is no charge to present a tutorial (academic/non-profit only). However, all presenters of accepted tutorials are expected to register for CMSB.

Posters:

Posters will be presented during the poster session on Monday. The overall size of your poster shall not exceed A0. There is no requirement that you fill the board. Your poster should cover the main points of your work and be as self-explanatory as possible. Please submit for review a pdf version of your poster or an up to 4 page description of your work using the LNCS templates, available at the url below

Contributions to the PhD Colloquia:

The PhD colloquium will provide the opportunity for PhD students to discuss their research with experienced scientists and other students. Contributions to the PhD colloquia shall present research projects resulting in a doctorate in the field of computational methods for systems biology. The submissions should contain the planned own contribution, a well-defined project definition, and a list of both previous achievements and related papers (up to 4 pages in LNI-size).
