An Introduction to Graph Visualization by Steffen Hadlak
Graphs are important structures to model biological pathways, reaction networks as well as hierarchies like the tree of life. This session aims to give an overview of common visualization methods for graphs with a special focus on hierarchical multi-level structures and dynamic changes of these graphs. This BATS lecture will give a 30 minutes introduction on the topic of graph visualization, followed by a 15 minutes overview of my PhD research on dynamic multi-level graph visualization and finish with 15 minutes of open discussion on this topic.
