The aim of the tutorial is to give the attendees a feeling of what to model, how to model and which knowledge is needed. Therefore we will use two public-available software tools - SBW and Copasi. Addressed topics are terminology of modelling, kinetic laws and deterministic and stochastic simulation. The attendees will be asked to develop a simplistic model containing two species and four reactions Eventually a model of a repressilator will be explained in detail.
