Research interest

Generally speaking, I am interested in Systems Biology, pattern formation and the evolution of life. In my current project I focus on mathematical modeling of cell signaling, in particular the Wnt signaling pathway and its role in neuronal differentiation.

To analyze the mathematical models, I use methods from dynamical systems theory. Furthermore, I apply new analytical tools and concepts such as generalized modeling and sloppy parameter sensitivities.
