PPPM released, based on JAMES II

The software "Probabilistic Population Projection Model for Java", developed based on JAMES II, has been released to the public

Dr. Christina Bohk (Faculty for Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Rostock) has developed a software for population projections in her PhD thesis. The software has been published under an open source license (Probabilistic Population Projection Model for Java). This software has been developed based on the JAMES II modeling and simulation framework developed at the chair for modeling and simulation.

We congratulate Mrs. Bohk for the award (Allianz-Nachwuchspreis für Demographie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Demographie) she received recently for her thesis.
