Abstract: The project focuses on component-oriented modeling. Model implementations are enriched with interface descriptions in XML.

Como aims at the composition of complex simulation models from a set of model components. XML-based techniques form the basis for storage of public interface descriptions for model components. At the time of composition, connected interfaces have to be checked for compatibility. A successful  composition is transformed to an executalbe model.
